Storyline
On a stormy night during World War II, a female pilot with top secret cargo talks her way on board a bomber plane about to take-off. The crass all-male crew reluctantly agrees, but their suspicions about her identity and the mysterious cargo quickly grow. Just then a shadow appears in the clouds – was it the incoming Japanese fleet? Or caused by some other sinister stowaway?

One of the flight crew members tells Maude that there “ain’t no women in the Air Corps”, to which she replies “Sure, there are. I’m Women’s Auxiliary Force, RAF. We were trained soldiers.” This is highly inaccurate in that the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) was not RAF proper. WAAF members were civilians, not military personnel like the regular Royal Air Force. Also, the term “Air Corps” was not used by the UK, New Zealand or Australia. “Air Corps” was a term used by the United States for the first incarnation of the U.S. Air Force during the First World War (not during WWII, in which the film is set). Chloë Grace Mortez’s career is going worse than bad.
Chloë Grace is a terrific actress so it is disheartening to see how her career going downhill since her early rise with Kick-ass among other projects. This has definitely to with her choosing of such horrible production as this. From top to bottom the movie is a huge disappointment and keeps you want to rip your own hair off.
